Justyn R. Putnam

Mr. Putnam (Justyn) founded the Talanta Investment Group, LLC in 2009 to provide clients with access to the superior investment opportunities available in smaller publicly traded companies. Prior to founding Talanta, he working under Mario J. Gabelli at GAMCO investors, a leading practitioner of the “value” based investing style. Mr. Putnam has public company board experience and is currently the Managing Member of Talanta Investment Group, LLC.

He obtained his MBA from Columbia University in New York City. While a member of the selective Value Investing Program at Columbia, Mr. Putnam was under the tutelage of some of the industry leaders in finance and investment management. Prior to that, he received his undergraduate degree from N.C. State University where he graduated magna cum laude in Engineering.

Steve A. Joyce, Jr.

Mr. Joyce (Steve) is a lifelong resident of Guilford County North Carolina. Since graduating from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a degree in Political Science, Mr. Joyce has spent most of his professional life in financial services and remains very active in community and civic affairs. He is a previous Chair of the UNCG Foundation. He has also served on the Advisory Board of The Salvation Army of Greensboro.

Mr. Joyce has over 30 years experience in financial services most of which he spent with Smith Barney as a Financial Consultant. In his tenure as a financial professional he worked with a broad array of products and services. Mr. Joyce was privileged to work with clients concerning their financial affairs and continues to enjoy relationships built during those years.
